The Environmental Facilities Corporation (EFC) and the Department of Health (DOH) are seeking comments from the public regarding the Draft Federal Fiscal Year (FFY) 2017 Intended Use Plans (IUPs)for the Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) and Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF). The Draft IUPs are available at www.efc.ny.gov

Written comments will be accepted on the Draft 2017 IUPs until 5 p.m. on Friday, September 2, 2016. Details on where to send comments are provided below.

EFC and DOH will host a webinar on Wednesday, August 3rd starting at 10:00 am. The webinar will present an overview of the Draft 2017 CWSRF and DWSRF IUPs, and will provide an opportunity for participants to ask questions on the IUPs. Registration information for this webinar are posted on EFC’s website at www.efc.ny.gov.  The webinar will not be an opportunity to provide public comment on the Draft IUPs. Those who wish to offer public comment should follow the instructions provided below.

A public meeting and hearing will be held to review the Draft 2017 CWSRF and DWSRF IUPs, including the lists of projects that may receive financial assistance during FFY 2017, and to receive public comment. The public meeting and hearing will be Wednesday, August 24, 2016 starting at 3:00 PM at the William K. Sanford Town Library in the Town of Colonie in Albany County. The Library is located at 629 Albany Shaker Road, which is East of Exit 4, off I-87. Public notices of this meeting and hearing were published in the Environmental Notice Bulletin (ENB) and in the State Register on July 13, 2016.
