RECREATION PASSES

Most recreation programs require a Rec. photo pass for participation. It is used to offer programs at reduced charges or free of charge, to control participation by non-residents, and to give us access to emergency information. Passes can be purchased Monday through Friday, 1:00pm-4:00pm, at the Recreation Office and at special hours during program registrations. A valid driver’s license, or similar form of identification is required. Children will not be given a pass until a parent or guardian has completed the registration information.

This is the 1st year of our two-year pass system.

SENIOR “GOING PLACES” VAN

If you are 60 years of age or older, can get in and out of a van under your own power, and occasionally need transportation, call the Recreation Department at 505-1172 for information on the van.  We take requests for transportation every Monday morning for appointments the rest of the week.  The cost is minimal, a donation of $1.00 each way for appointments in our City and $2.00 each way for Kenmore, Buffalo, Williamsville and Amherst appointments.

We work on a priority basis - doctor and hospital appointments first, then banking and grocery shopping.   It can be inconvenient at times, but if you need us, we will try to be there for you.
